M Jaganathan born at Tiruvarur. He had graduated from Government Arts College, Thiruvarur and later completed M Com from there. He had joined as P.G. Assistant at Town Higher Secondary School, Kumbakonam during September 1979. He did his MEd and M Phil from Annamalai University.

He was promoted as Assistant Head Master during 2008 and held the post of Head Master during 2009-2011.
His abundant knowledge in Accountancy and Commerce mesmerized the students studied under him.
MJN, as he known in the student community had laid a strong foundation in the minds of the students to excel in their studies. He had injected fuel in the growth of the Commerce students and many of them now are in the areas of Finance & Accounts in various organisations; nevertheless there are more than 200 students studied under him are now CAs, CMAs and CS.
He had mixed up nicely his Spiritual Goal and Teaching Goal together. His ambition in Spirituality is as high as in teaching line.
He is In-charge of the Spiritual Centre viz. Kudanthai Annai Dhyana Maiyam, Kumbakonam from 1998.
He is Guest Speaker at Sri Annai Medidation Centres and delivered many spiritual lectures all over Tamil Nadu.
He is the Author of Temple Town Trust.

M Rethinakumar (MR) born in a Freedom Fighter family at Tiruvarur. His father Thiru S Muthuvel Pillai was a Freedom Fighter.

His Vision of making Commerce Students best among others was fulfilled when THSS during his tenure as Head Master of two years, has produced both the year, a student who has scored 200 out of 200 in all the main stream subjects of Accountancy, Commerce, Economics and Business Mathematics. Many of his students are in Banks, Financial Institutions and other Multi National Companies still recognizes his contribution. Many of his disciples has grown as a banyan tree now!
Even after his retirement in 2013 MR is actively participating in the teaching areas and he is one of the Architect of this Trust.

T Balakrishnan born on 8th July 1966. Balu is Bachelor of Commerce from Bharathidasan University and Diploma in Marketing Management from National Institute of Sales, Chennai.
His Grand Father Late Balakrishnan was Head Master of Thiruvarur Board High School.

He Started his carrier as an Accounts Executive in his native town of Kumbakonam before shifting to Chennai. He changed his profession to marketing line after completing the Diploma in Marketing. In Marketing, he started career from the bottom of the sales department in a Private Company and held various positions and achieved various marketing goals during his tenure of 30 years of service.
Presently working with M/s Oswin Wood Panels Pvt. Ltd. as General Manager Marketing.

Mr. V Ananthakrishnan

V Ananthakrishnan, an MBA Graduate is one of the trustee and active participant in activities of the trust.
He is currently working as Deputy General Manager – Admin of HCL Chennai. He did his schooling at THSS from 1978 – 1986 and completed his B Com at Govt Arts College, Kumbakonam.

No sooner he completed his graduation, he migrated to Chennai and started his career from 1989.
He is an enterprising professional who has 24 + years of experience in various fields. We are very happy to have him as one of our trustee.

S R Ganesh born in 1965. He has done schooling in Town Higher Secondary School, and graduated from Government College (Men), Kumbakonam. He is proprietor of Saravana Jewellery and in business for the past 33 years. Apart from his jewellery business he is very much interested in the social welfare activities.

He has organised many social welfare programs as being Member of Rotary Club Central, Kumbakonam and reached the post of District Secretary.
His effortless service during in a major fire accident of a school in Kumbakonam was highly applauded by the then Collector.
He is Committee Member of Kumbakonam Jewelry Association, Life member of Saraswati Gana Saba.
He is life member of Eshwar School, which is catering to the needs of mentally retarded children, and as a past president he has done lot of charitable work in that School for the welfare of the students.

Raaja Viswanathan, born on 27th may 1945 is a native of Kumbakonam.He has studied in Town Higher Secondary School (THSS) during the year 1956-1963. He is Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Government College (Men) Kumbakonam, and has done Master Degree in History.

After completing his BEd., his interest in teaching led to join in the same school THSS, where he has studied and he was B.T Assistant and served this Prestigious School from 1969-1978. During that time he has done his MEd also and entire school knows him as RV.
After dedicated service of 9 years, he was promoted as P.G. Assistant during 1978. Considering his effortless service he was honoured with the top most post of the School as Head Master during 1983 and after rendering service as HM for 20 years he retired during 2003. As the saying goes "A Good Teacher is always a Best Student", even after his retirement he continued his studies and completed M.Phil (Education) during 2007, i.e. at the age of 67.
During the Service he was heading NSS also. RV has groomed more than 10,000 students in the span of 34 years of Teaching Service. Taking various position as friend, Philosopher and Guide he has nourished Students in their Path and presently he is Committee Member of THSS.
He is advisor to National Vidyalaya and Committee Member in Avvai Aided Elementary School in Kumbakonam.
