Temple Town Trust
Temple Town Trust was registered on the 22nd day of April 2013 with a Motto to “help the needy students” in their education. Its object is primarily, to grant scholarships, donations, and financial assistance, for the benefit of students in their educational pursuit.
Way back during December 2010 Commerce Alumni Meet of Town Higher Secondary School (THSS), an idea was mooted by Mentor & Advisor of the Trust Sri R Viswanathan (RV), Former Head Master to help the poor students.
With the contribution of friends and well wishers, even before set up of the Trust, an amount of Rs.40,000/- was distributed during 2011-12 and Rs.90,000/- was distributed to 90 students during 2012-13.
The Author of the Trust Sri M Jaganathan (MJN) along with Sri M Rethinakumar (MR) had stressed the importance of setting up of Trust, in continuing the welfare schemes to the poor students in a much more organized manner during the meet of December 2012, and their idea and effort has helped us in forming this Trust.
